As an intern I worked as a Public Relation Marketeer for almost 8 months at Pon Porsche Import. My responsibilities included organizing and planning the demo-fleet, maintaining contact with journalists, maintaining contact with the global Porsche PR network, supporting mailings for marketing purposes, and helping out with the structuring of events.
The Pon Porsche Center operates as importer for the Dutch market and as dealer for a number of regions for the famous German brand, Porsche, which focuses on the top segment of the market: sports cars and de luxe SUVs. The first country where Porsches has been exported to was the Netherlands. In 1949, Ben Pon imported the first 356’s to the Netherlands. Porsche now delivers six different models, which includes the Boxster, Cayman, Panamera, Cayenne, Macan, 918, and the famous 911.
